IDF forces conducted a surprise raid on Tuesday in the Jenin refugee camp. During the raid, security forces uncovered a secret weapons cache of knives, various types of ammunition, and improvised explosive devices.

During the raid, local terrorists opened fire upon the soldiers. Several firebombs were thrown as well in the course of the attack. The soldiers did not sustain any injuries and no damage was reported.

Voice of Israel radio reported that during the raid, a suspect was arrested for questioning. According to Palestinian sources, the suspect is a known terrorist with ties to the Gaza-based Hamas terrorist organization.

In related news, radical anti-Israel leftists working with Palestinians have uploaded a heavily edited video that claims to show the shooting of two Arab youths by IDF soldiers. The footage is supposedly from a security camera near the incident, which took place during violent riots on Nakba Day last Thursday.

Nakba, the Arabic word for catastrophe, marks the Arab commemoration of the creation of the State of Israel. Arabs and Palestinians worldwide mark the day as a day of mourning and often engage in violent riots within Israel and along Israel’s borders.

The youth’s were part of a mass riot that engaged in a stone attack against IDF soldiers at the Bitunia checkpoint. The footage shows the them dropping to the ground as they walk away from the checkpoint.

The IDF has blasted the video, saying that it has created a completely false perception of the actual situation.

“Last Thursday, there were a number of violent protests in Judea and Samaria. In the Betunia area, a violent demonstration took place, involving around 150 Palestinians which included incidents of tire-burning and rock-throwing,” the army said in a statement Tuesday afternoon.

“Security forces in the area used riot dispersal means to restore calm. Later in the day, it was reported that two Palestinians died as a result of these security operations. A preliminary investigation determined that live fire was not used by security forces. The incident remains under investigation. The video clip which was released today has been edited, and doesn’t document the full extent of the event, nor does it reflect the violent nature of the riot.”
