Abbas Claims Jesus is Palestinian

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is worried – and he has good reason to be. Abbas called upon world leaders Monday night, hours after the discovery of the dead bodies of the three kidnapped Israeli teens, to ask for help in restraining Israel’s response.

eyal gilad naftaliIsrael Radio reported that Abbas, who is set to convene an emergency cabinet session on Tuesday in Ramallah, will discuss possible measures Israel will take in response to the murders.

The report said that Abbas is anticipating a strong response by Israel and possible demands that the PA sever its ties with Hamas, which Israel holds responsible for the kidnappings.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delayed a security cabinet meeting Monday evening to discuss Israel’s response to the murders. The prime minister has opted to wait until after the funeral of Eyal Yifrach, Gilad Shaar and Naftali Frenkel, who will be laid to rest on Tuesday.

According to Sky News in Arabic, Abbas has been conducting a “feverish” communications blitz with the United States and other countries to pressure Israel not to launch a wide-scale operation in Gaza, Judea and Samaria.

Netanyahu, who said the teens “were abducted and murdered in cold blood by human animals,” has vowed that “Hamas will pay” for the death of the boys.

Economy Minister Naftali Bennett stated, “The murder of children is unforgivable. Our hearts are with the families right now. Now is the time for actions; not talk.”

The bodies of the three boys were found approximately 20 kilometers (12 miles) from where they were abducted in Judea. Volunteers working with the IDF discovered the bodies partially buried in a field outside of a Palestinian village near Hebron.

Discovered around 5:30 p.m, the parents of the boys were informed of their sons deaths shortly after. Spokespeople on behalf of the families expressed their thanks to Israel for their efforts in finding the boys and thanked the public for their support, solidarity and prayers. The three boys are to be buried Tuesday side by side in Modiin.

The IDF is now searching for two Hamas members it believes are the kidnappers and murderers. Amer Abu Aysha and Marwan Kawasme have been missing from their homes in Hebron since the abductions. The two terrorists are believed to have been in the car the three teens were kidnapped in.
