Three stabbing attacks, one in Jerusalem, one in Kiryat Arba near Hebron, and one in Afula, bring the total of terror attacks against Israelis in the last twenty-four hours, to eleven.
In Jerusalem, a 16-year old boy was stabbed on Shmuel Hanavi Street around noon. The assailant fled but police caught him near the scene of the attack. The boy was injured light and taken to Hadassah Hospital for treatment. Police reported the terrorist was an 18-year old Palestinian from Hebron.
In Kiryat Arba, a terrorist stabbed a police officer and tried to steal his gun but was unsuccessful. He was shot and killed by police.
A female terrorist attempted to stab a security guard on duty near the central bus station in Afula this afternoon. The terrorist was shot and severely wounded.
Yesterday, eight Israelis were injured, two seriously, in five separate stabbing attacks. One terrorist was shot to death, two were arrested, one was severely wounded, and one is still at large.
