Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked Americans for voting him the ninth most admired man in a Gallup poll released on Wednesday.

The Prime Minister tweeted a video thanking Americans for the honor.

“I’m honored,” said Netanyahu. “My staff just told me that there was a Gallup poll where I was included in the ten most admired people by the American public. I appreciate that- not because of the support for me, but first and foremost for my country Israel. Thank you, America.”

The list of admired men also included former President Barack Obama (ranked first), and President Donald Trump (ranked second), Pope Francis (ranked third), and Senator Bernie Sanders (ranked seventh). The list also included (in order) Reverend Billy Graham, Senator John McCain, Elon Musk, Senator Bernie Sanders, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, the Dalai Lama, and Vice President Mike Pence.

The most admired women were Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Elizabeth Warren, Angela Markel, Queen Elizabeth II, Condoleeza Rice, Melania Trump, Nikki Haley, Duchess Kate Middleton, and Beyonce Knowles.

A quarter of Americans cannot name a man or a woman they admire most. Nine percent name a relative or friend as the most admired man, and 13% do so for the most admired woman.
