A group of Hasidic singers took to the field in Coney Island to kick off the annual baseball game between the New York Police Department team and a team of players from the Flatbush Hatzolah volunteer ambulance service of Brooklyn, New York. At first the singers ran into difficulties with the microphone and the words, but then the leader of the group whipped out his smartphone to read the lyrics and belted out the National Anthem while the backup singers hummed along.
