As if denying the Jewish connection to the land of Israel wasn’t enough, Hamas has taken their history revision to the international stage.
Sheikh Salem Salameh, a Hamas-affiliated legislator and the deputy head of the Palestine Islamic Scholars Association appeared on Mayadeen TV (Lebanon), making the claim that George Washington waged war against the Native Americans because they were “Muslim”. He also added that this was “proven” without elaborating where or how it was “proven” or providing any evidence to back up his claim.
He added that the reason that the early colonialists killed the Native Americans is because “they had mosques”. He then went on to call the US a “murderous state” that “assists murderers”. Salameh also added that America kills “prophets”, not to mention – women and children.
