Iran and Turkey Support Violent Riots in US

The violent riots invading cities throughout America appear to receive backing from some unexpected players – Iran and Turkey.

As experts in breaking down law and order in foreign lands, Iran’s foreign minister called for “war” against racism in a tweet on Saturday saying: “To those of us who do: it is long overdue for the entire world to wage war against racism. Time for a #WorldAgainstRacism.”

Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khomeini tweeted a speech implying that America was inherently racist. The video featured the caption “If you’re dark-skinned walking in the US, you can’t be sure you’ll be alive in the next few minutes.”

But the other Islamic superpower in the Middle East seems to be joining their Iranian counterparts adding insult to injury. Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took to Twitter calling for “punishment” saying: “I believe that the perpetrators of this inhumane act shall receive the punishment they deserve. We will be monitoring the issue. I remember with respect George Floyd and extend my condolences to his family and loved ones.”

It should be known that both Iran and Turkey are considered to be among the world’s worst violators of human rights. Until this day, Turkey still denies their role in the notorious Armenian Genocide of 1915 whereby the Ottoman empire massacred 1.5 million ethnic Armenians. Today, they are often accused of killing local Kurds as well as other civilians in Syria.

Iran systematically imprisons dissidents while funding and backing terrorism throughout the Middle East including Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and Gaza. According to AP, Iran reported 230 killed in November protests.
