“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty…And under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day…” (Psalm 91:1-16)
What some call one of the greatest technological inventions, others call watching the hand of God in action.
The Iron Dome missile defense system is Israel’s greatest weapon at countering Hamas’s rocket attacks on Israel and protecting those living in the Holy Land. Iron Dome is able to calculate the trajectory of an incoming rocket and, should it be headed towards a civilian population, the missile is intercepted and destroyed.
Unfortunately, over the last month and a half, the IDF has had to use Iron Dome on an almost daily basis as terrorists in the Gaza Strip carry out a relentless barrage of rockets on cities all over Israel.
Southern cities like Ashdod and Ashkelon as well as those communities living in the Gaza Belt witness the Iron Dome in action each day as rockets attempt to destroy the lives of those living there.
In Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, the city stops as people watch, wait and listen for the “boom” indicating the Iron Dome in action. Everyone exhales and can’t help but think that they have been part of yet another miracle.
The video you are about to see was captured by a soldier on an IDF base in Ashdod during a Red Alert siren warning of incoming missiles. Not one, not two, not three, but 15 rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome at once.
If this isn’t a miracle, I don’t know what is.
