Explosions rocked parts of Samaria on Sunday morning as Israeli security forces suspect terrorist activity in the area.

An explosion occurred near the Rahelim Junction, a hitchhiking station in Samaria. IDF and Police teams arrived at the active hitchhiking station with bomb squad experts combing the area for additional explosives and suspicious figured.

In a separate attack, two pipe bombs exploded near the Jit Intersection, located west of Nablus in Samaria. Police are said to be searching the area for the perpetrators and additional explosives.

On Saturday, Palestinian terrorists threw a Molotov cocktail at the Beit Meyuhas, a historical Jewish home dating back to the 19th century. The attack took place in the City of David, located south of Jerusalem’s Old City.

A 45-year-old Israeli male was wounded in the attack, suffering from first and second degree burns to his head. He was treated by Magen David Adom paramedics at the scene and transferred to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital for treatment.

The City of David is located right next to the Arab neighborhood of Shiloach, an area which is known for attacks in the past. Two weeks ago, a Jewish home was set on fire in Shiloach when two Molotov cocktails were thrown at it.

The attacks come after Hamas held “victory” parades in Ramallah on Saturday. The parades were held in honor of the Palestinians perceived “victory” against Israel during Operation Protective Edge.

Hamas parades were also held last Friday in the Galilee, in which several Arab MK’s, including Hanin Zoabi, who is well known for her incitement against Israel, called to end the “occupation.”
