Archaeology is now working to confirm the history of the Bible, bringing its characters to life.
Meanwhile, in New York, the United Nations Security Council rejected a Palestinian resolution that called for the establishment of a Palestinian state without taking into account Israeli security concerns.
The unilateral resolution demanded Israel withdraw from East Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria by 2017 and the formation of a state on pre-1967 borders, borders deemed indefensible by Israel.
