Republicans in Israel: White House Should Focus on Priorities, Not Protocols of Invite to Netanyahu

An invitation by US Speaker of the House John Boehner to Prime Minister Netanyahu to address a joint-session of Congress in February, without first consultating the White House is the latest in a lengthy list of diplomatic faux pas between the current administrations of Israel and America. Co-Chairman of Republicans Abroad in Israel Marc Zell tells VOI’s Josh Hasten that with Iran striving for nuclear capabilities and ISIS running rampant, priorities should take precedent over protocol. Zell says that administration focus must be on the threats, as opposed to whether or not the Obama administration feels snubbed.
