Three terrorists were killed this morning, March 14 near the Jewish community of Kiryat Arba, located on the outskirts of the Judean city of Hebron.
Two of the terrorists conducted a shooting attack this morning at approximately 6:45. They were leaving in their car from a nearby gas station and stopped at a hitchhiking stop. The terrorists then opened fire in the direction of the soldiers who were guarding the hitchiking stop. The soldiers were wounded but managed to return fire, successfully wounding the terrorists.
Meanwhile, a security guard at Kiryat Arba who heard the shooting, immediately ran to the hitchiking stop. When the security guard arrived, one of the terrorists who was already wounded and lying on the ground, attempted to fire in the direction of the security guard. The security guard immediately responded, killing the terrorist. The other terrorist also attempted to fire his gun but was successfully killed by the soldiers.
Twenty minutes later, a car traveling from the south on route 60 (a north-south highway in Judea and Samaria) ran over a soldier who was guarding the scene of the attack. The terrorist was immediately killed.
Two of the three terrorists, 30-year-old Farid Abu Odeh and 22-year-old Amir F0uad Jenidi, were residents of Hebron. The third terrorist was Yusaf Mustafa, an 18-year-old resident of the nearby Palestinian town of Bani Nai’im, east of Hebron.
Currently, security forces are conducting an overall investigation at the location of the attacks, and are closely monitoring passing vehicles.
