Israel Names Street After ‘Japanese Schindler’ Who Saved 6,000 Jews

Chiune Sugihara worked tirelessly to save thousands of Lithuanian Jews from Nazi Germany. His efforts included working day and night, creating visas to get them safely out of Europe. Israel honored his memory last week by naming a street in the city of Netanya after Sugihara.
