At an anti-Trump protest rally on Saturday in Washington DC, entertainer Madonna gave a profanity laden speech in which she declared she’s “thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House”.

“It took this horrific moment of darkness to wake us the f–k up,” she told the crowd. “It seems as though we had all slipped into a false sense of comfort, that justice would prevail and that good would win in the end. Well, good did not win this election. But good will win in the end,” she said.

Madonna supported Hillary Clinton in the presidential election and performed a concert in New York City in support of her campaign.

“Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House,” Madonna said. “But I know that this won’t change anything. We cannot fall into despair.”

Madonna then performed two of her songs, “Express Yourself” and “Human Nature”, changing some of the lyrics and inserting profanity.

The Secret Service, charged with presidential security, have reportedly said they will open an investigation into Madonna’s threats.

Over 500,000 people were reported to have attended the Washington rally., at which singer Ashley Judd also launched a profanity filled tirade against the new president. Singers Alicia Keyes and Janelle Monae, advocate and writer Janet Mock, and filmmaker Michael Moore, also appeared onstage at the rally in Washington DC.
