The Torah teaches us that bounty and plentifulness is intrinsic to the Land of Israel. God’s blessing is felt from the depths of the soil to the tips of the trees! It is our job to ensure that these blessings are available to all of the Land’s inhabitants equally. Clothing and feeding the poor are, therefore, Biblical values rooted in the Holy Land.
