PR Advice to Israel: Videotape More

Today, as Arutz-7 reported, “Roughly 100 people were injured in the Old City of Jerusalem Thursday, shortly after Muslim worshippers returned to the Temple Mount following a nearly two-week ban by Muslim authorities on prayer at the holy site.”

Riots broke out within minutes of the opening, images and videos could be everywhere as Anti-Israel activists used their cellphones, camcorders, etc. to video-record everything that’s happening, and then edited the videos to suit their propaganda needs before releasing to the media. Look here to see how they stage scenes for the media/

Why are Pro-Israel activists on the ground not doing the same thing?  This public relations executive simply does not understand it. There are literally homeless people in this world who take videos with cellphones, yet technology-rich Israel isn’t doing it. The internet should be flooded with video clips of Palestinians violently attacking Israeli police, yet I don’t see that stuff anywhere

Israel, like, RIGHT NOW, should have people recording everything around there – yes right now. It can be guys in uniform, or just anonymous plain-clothes random-looking civilians, recording Palestinians violently attacking Israeli police etc.

Then edit the clips, slapping a PR-friendly caption on each video that sends a clear message, so anybody who sees the video clip knows what’s going on even if they don’t see the social media message as the clip was sent out.

I could go on, but you get the message.

Those of us who know and believe that Israel is the good guy in the Middle East need to contribute more to the narrative, and Israel needs to use this media to its advantage.
