There are few things in Judaism more important than imparting the joy and wisdom of the Torah (Bible) to our children and teaching them the Biblical stories and values which form their relationship with the Divine. The command to teach children is called “chinuch”, or education. The basis of “chinuch” is connecting children to the Torah, which contains the everlasting and sacred Word of God.
