Dozens of Israeli companies will participate in the annual Association of United States Army exposition in Washington DC, considered one of the largest in the field of land warfare in the world.

According to  Brig. Gen. (Res.) Michel Ben-Baruch, head of  SIBAT –  Israel’s International Defense Cooperation Agency –  the Israeli defense establishment has positioned itself in recent years as a global expert in the field of Homeland and Citizens Security (HLS), focusing on three issues that are of great interest to the US market: protecting cities and strategic installations from internal and external terrorism, protecting cities from cyber attacks and protecting borders. “The fact that Israel has been dealing with these threats for years makes our solutions attractive in the US market and in general,” Ben-Baruch said.

Among the Israelis companies  participating in this year’s three-day event is Elbit Systems, which will be presenting its IronVision system that enables soldiers to “see through” armor and operate from within closed hatches. Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) will display Blue Dome, a system designed to reduce friendly fire casualties, while ACS Industries, will present a special Grenade Trigger Pouch specially designed  for Special Forces that enables one-handed  grenade retrieval.

Other technologies on display at the Israeli Pavilion will include unmanned ground platforms, detection and observation systems, firearms, motion systems for air, sea and land, advanced communications and more.
