The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) made a stark announcement this morning, claiming that Iran’s proxy Hezbollah, has been conducting reconnaissance in the Golan Heights border area between Israel and Syria.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed John Bolton, Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs (NSA) to Jerusalem and impressed upon him – particularly in light of the announcement to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria – about the need for Israel to maintain sovereignty over its part of the Golan Heights.
The seven-year long Syrian civil war has created a refugee crisis, both those internally displaced and those who have fled the country. In response, a group of Jewish and Arab educators from Israel started the International School of Peace in Lesbos, Greece. Now, the refugee kids have somewhere to go to school.
