President Trump made a campaign promise to build a security wall between the United States and Mexico. This promise, just one among many he made, has become a central issue to the point where the president was willing to endure a government shutdown now in its sixth day in order to receive the $5 billion he needs to build the wall.

A recent survey of Evangelical Christians revealed that a majority of them acknowledge that God accepts the prayers of Jews. Although this seems to be a positive development in Jewish-Christian relations, the idea that basic tenets of Christianity can be cast aside is the source of serious concern for the Christian clergy.
For groups and individuals who visit the Holy Land from all over the world, the highlight of their visit is often Jerusalem’s Western Wall. For the first time, a special group of severely disabled people, who live in unique housing centers sponsored by the charity organization Colel Chabad, were blessed to join in that life-altering experience.
